Scheduling Inspections
- The Building Department requires the person doing the work to call
and request the required inspection.
- 24 Hour notice is required for all inspection requests. All attempts
will be made to perform the inspection within 24 hours. This may not
always be possible due to the large area we cover.
- Inspections in the outlying areas of Denio, Kings River, McDermitt will be performed on Wednesdays.
- When an inspection is called in you will be given an AM or PM when
requesting the inspection. Times will not be given except in special
circumstances.
- During the roof framing inspection phase of a project all aspects of the roof area are required to be ready for inspection (i.e. roof sheathing nailing, trusses, roof framing, clips, bracing, vents)
- During the "rough" inspection phase of a project, all aspects of the
job are required to be ready for inspection at the same time. These include:
wall framing, electrical, plumbing and mechanical.
